PRODUCER
Gerard Bertrand is one of the most renowned winemakers in southern France, with numerous awards among the most prestigious Languedoc-Roussillon cruises. In 2012, he received the title "Producer of the Year for Red Wines" from IWC, as well as "European Cellar of the Year" from Wine Enthusiast. Known as the King of Languedoc, Bertrand produces stunning wines that showcase the diversity of the terroirs of southern France.

VINEYARD
Gerard Bertrand has made a strong commitment to sustainable soil development, applying Terra Vitis standards and growing his vines organically. Biodynamic farming is used in eight of the winery's properties. The soils are very diverse, mainly with hard limestone, but also gravel brought from the rivers of the Languedoc region.

VINIFICATION
The grapes are harvested by machine with an integrated sorting system. The grapes are removed from the branches, cooled to 8 ° C and transferred to the press. Particular attention is paid to pressing to ensure that only the first, highest quality juice is retained. He is then allowed to precipitate.
The fermentation lasts between 15 and 30 days, depending on the degree of clarification and temperature. Finally, after a slight fining, the wine is bottled to maintain its fresh, fruity character.
